Meet The Staff
The staff at
Aesthetic
Plastic Surgery and Laser Center
realizes that patients
need accurate information, skilled care, and close
personal attention.
Dr. Hardaway has hand picked a warm and dedicated staff
who will help you feel as reassured and relaxed as
possible. Dr.
Hardaway’s staff also maintains up to date
training so that they are able to provide you
information on all of the latest techniques and
products.
Our Aestheticians, Patient Care Coordinators and
Nurses meet with you in a private setting allowing you
to feel comfortable as you take advantage of the
soothing experiences offered in our
MediSpa.
At the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery &
Laser Center, we pride ourselves on the expertise
and warmth of our staff. More patients than not have
chosen us because of the immediate feeling of trust,
compatibility and genuine caring that they felt upon
meeting us.

Our Executive
Administrator Assistant, Christine, is the friendly
face you will see when you first arrive at the Aesthetic
Plastic Surgery & Laser Center. Christine is the one to
schedule your consultation visit, follow-up visits and
is happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
She works with you and your busy schedule to ensure a
delightful and positive experience at our facility.
Our Patient Care
Coordinator, Sylvia, will assist you through your
surgical experience with an amazing amount of compassion
and detail. Sylvia will coordinate your procedure, set
up your necessary appointments and is extremely creative
in helping you achieve your personal goals in this more
challenging economic climate.
Our Medical
Assistant, Tammi, is eager to prepare you for your
consultation visit with Dr. Hardaway in a friendly and
efficient manner. Tammi joins our team with over ten
years of plastic surgery experience and provides skin
care procedures as well at your request and convenience.
Our Surgical
Technologist, Vivienne, is highly trained, licensed
by the State of Michigan, and is responsible in
assisting Dr. Hardaway with her patients before, during
and after surgery. Her bubbly personality is contagious
as she works closely with you, not only providing laser
treatments, but to educate you on specific procedures as
well.
Our Recovery Room
Nurses, Cheryl, RN and Karrie, RN, together with
over twenty years of surgical nursing experience, will
present you with state-of-the-art nursing care on your
special surgery day. You will find Cheryl and Karrie
warm and compassionate nurses providing you with a safe
and comfortable stay post-operatively at our facility.
Our Practice
Manager, Laura, RN, combines a perfect blend of
business knowledge, patient support and staff concern.
With over thirty years of nursing experience, Laura
works closely with Dr. Hardaway and her patients to
provide a secure and pleasant surgical experience for
you. In addition, Laura is responsible for maintaining
our prestigious certification by the American
Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical
Facilities (AAAASF) which concentrates on
specific standards that emphasize attention to those
issues that most directly impact patient care, patient
safety and responsible leadership.
Our
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Brenda
Altuna
keeps your surgical process running smoothly during your
procedure and maintains the highest standards of safety.
Brenda holds a Michigan state licenses and is
certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and provide
over twenty years of experience administering anesthesia
in hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers.
Brenda specialized in teaching pediatric
anesthesia. In addition she traveled annually to
Honduras for 7 years to provide anesthesia for village
people who had little or no medical care available. She
has been with us since Dr. Hardaway opened her first
facility many years ago, and we use her services
exclusively in our AAAASF accredited surgical center.
Brenda will contact you directly prior to your procedure
to discuss your anesthesia care plan and answer any of
your questions or concerns—all components of ensuring a
safe and pleasant anesthesia experience for you.
